My first production with Coastal Academy and my first time working with The Ritz Theater! Being a very colorful musical, I had the opportunity to play with any hue I wanted. The most challenging part of design was the in-convenient layout of the light grid, as well as color matching an RGB fixture with CMY fixtures.
My favorite part about this show is that it was entirely hands-free! Due to having few people available to tech the show, I programmed a mix of EOS time-codes and Qlab slices to trigger all cues automatically via network. A single student ran Qlab while I covered the follow-spot.
